The Home Buying Process Can Be Simple:
The mortgage loan process can seem complex and confusing at first, but once we break it down into small steps, things get a lot easier. At LoanHouz, we want to ensure you have the clarity you need and feel 100% confident as you move through the homebuying process knowing exactly where you are and what you can expect next.
STEP 1: Apply for Pre-Approval
The goal of our application is to gather as much information as possible up front. This gives you a major head start and allow us to expedite the process.
STEP 2: Submit your Documents
Once you upload the requested documents, we will schedule a time so we can review together your mortgage options, talk about the home buying process, and issue your pre-approval letter.
STEP 3: Start Your Search
Engage the help of a Real Estate Agent and start searching for your dream home with confidence knowing exactly what you are qualified to buy! This is the fun part—you get to look at houses and put in offers on the ones that feel like home.
STEP 4: Lock in Your interest RATE, APPRAISAL, & Title
Once you put in an offer on a home and the offer is accepted, we'll do the heavy lift for you. We will lock in your interest rate, have the appraisal ordered, start the title work, and work in coordination with your real estate agent the all the details until the closing date.
STEP 5: Underwriting
An underwriter will review your initial application and documents. He or she may request clarifications or additional supporting documentation so a "clear-to-close can be issued.
STEP 6: Closing Disclosures
At this point you're just a few days to closing. You'll receive the final figures and costs for closing. You will schedule a final walk-thru with your real estate agent and schedule with us the time and place for your closing.
STEP 7: Closing
You will attend the closing with your photo ID, sign the final documents, and receive the keys to your new home. Congratulations!!!—you're now a homeowner!
